West Bloomfield, died 
Aug. 25, 2024. 
She is survived by her

Magazinnik; grandchildren, Igor and 
Dr. Mollie Schmertzler, Felice and 
Andrew Esstman, Sofia and Logan 

Alt, Brian Draginsky; great-grandson, 
Shay Esstman. 
Emma was the beloved wife of the 
late Boris Mitsel; loving mother of the 
late Yelena Draginsky; dear sister and 
sister-in-law of the late Leonid and 
the late Anna Ziskind.

ALAN DAVID 
PENSKAR, 64, of West 
Bloomfield, died 
peacefully on Aug. 23, 
2024. 
Alan was a practicing 
lawyer for nearly 40 years in Flint 

and West Bloomfield, specializing 
in litigation. Alan never missed a 
family event and always had a joke 
to brighten the room. His wit and 
heart will be dearly missed by all 
who knew and loved him. 
Alan was beloved by his brother, 
Mark Penskar; sister, Randee 
(Robert) Bloom; nieces and 
nephews, Ashley (Peter) Kenny, 
Caitlin (Brad) Stulberg, Zack 
(Mailys) Bloom, David (Liane) 
Penskar, and Rebecca (Michael) 
Gherini; their children, Liam and 
Jack Kenny, Theo and Lila Stulberg, 
Tuli and Willow Bloom. 
He was the devoted son of the late 
Frances and Sol Penskar; brother-in-
law of the late Carol Penskar. 
Interment was at Hebrew 
Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton 
Township, Michigan. Contributions
