GERALDINE 
GOTTESMAN 
FREEDMAN, 85, of 
Boynton Beach, Fla., 
passed away peacefully 
on Aug. 20, 2024. She 
was the former owner of Dickens 
Den bookstore in Southfield.
She was the beloved wife of the 
late Harvey Freedman.
Mrs. Freedman is survived by 
children, Mary Beth (Neil) Berris 
of New York and Blair (Amy) 
Freedman of Georgia. She was the 
proud grandmother of David Berris 
(fiancée Dylan Teitelbaum), Rayna 
Berris and Julia Freedman. She is 
also survived by her brother, Dr. 
Max (Beverly) Gottesman. 
Interment was at Star of 
David, North Lauderdale, Fla. 
Contributions may be made to the 
Alzheimer’s Association.

BERNARD 
GLIEBERMAN, 84, of 
West Bloomfield, died 
Aug. 26, 2024. 
He is survived by 
his wife of 59 years, 
Sandee Glieberman; son, Lonie 
Glieberman; daughter and son-
in-law, Tracey and Jeff Katzen; 
grandchildren, Jared, Brett and 
Cami Katzen; many other loving 
relatives, friends and colleagues. 
Mr. Glieberman was the loving 
brother of the late Barbara and the 
late Harvey Carney; the devoted 
son of the late Louis and the late 
Gertrude Glieberman. 
Interment was at Clover Hill 
Park Cemetery. Contributions
