Magen David Adom is Israel’s
national emergency services sys-
tem. MDA protects life through the
creation, maintenance and oper-
ation of a world-class emergency
medical response infrastructure that
uses technology and training to
ensure emergency care is provid-
ed for all Israelis — wherever and
whenever they need it. MDA saves
life by responding immediately to
all emergencies, from minor acci-
dents to terrorist events regardless
of who is in need. And MDA gives
life through a massive volunteer
network, blood-bank services and a
human milk bank that helps every-
one regardless of their background.
MDA has created a standard for the
creation, management and delivery
of emergency resources that is the
envy of the world.
