Bayer and the late Arthur Peterman. 
She is survived by her son and 
daughter-in-law, Robert and Margi 
Bayer; son-in-law, Jay (Mary)

Lindsay and Jimi Foxley, Amy and 
Steve Leasure, and Gina Krouse; 
great-grandchildren, Jacob Bayer,

Stone, Elaine Krouse, Josiah Krouse, 
William Krouse, Jude Leasure and 
Gabe Leasure. 
Mrs. Peterman was the cherished 
mother of the late Jonathan Bayer 
and the late Daniel Bayer; the dear 
daughter of the late Joseph and the 
late Jenni Rothschild. 
Interment was at Clover Hill 
Park Cemetery. Contributions

RHODA DRESSLER 
POLLACK, passed 
away at her home in 
Fredericksburg, Texas, 
on Aug. 10, 2024, at the 
age of 85.
Rhoda was born in Detroit on 
Oct. 17, 1938, to Sol and Rose 
Greenblatt Dressler.
She was married to Jordan I. 
Pollack one day after her 18th 
birthday, on Oct. 18, 1956. Rhoda 
and Jordan were married for 53 
years before his death in 2009. 
Rhoda is survived by her son and 
daughter-in-law, David and Bonnie 
Pollack of Las Vegas, Nev.; daughter 
and son-in-law, Sheryl and Brad 
Kott of Fredericksburg, Texas; 
daughter and sons-in-law, Michelle 
and Jay Schreier of Bloomfield 
Hills; grandchildren, Mitchell 
(Amy) Pollack, Griffin (Morgan) 
Kott, Blair Kott, Max Schreier, 
and Jake Schreier; sister and 

brother-in-law, Susie and Howard 
Wassermann; brother-in-law, 
Steve Weston; sister-in-law, Carol 
Dressler; great-grandchildren, 
Jordan M. Pollack, Cooper Kott, 
Campbell Kott and Charlie Kott.
She was preceded in death by 
her husband, Jordan; his parents, 
Morey and Rose Pollack; her 
parents, Sol and Rose Dressler; 
two brothers, Larry and Steve; two 
sisters, Lorraine and Sandy; and a 
grandson, Quinn Kott.
Graveside services were held 
in Fredericksburg. Arrangements 
under the direction of Schaetter 
Funeral Home, Fredericksburg, 
Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family 
asks that memorials be given to the 
Quinn Kott Memorial Scholarship 
Fund at St. Mary’s Catholic School, 
Fredericksburg, Texas, or to a 
charity of one’s choice.

BETTE ROSE, 74, of 
East Lansing, formerly 
of Farmington Hills, 
died Aug. 8, 2024. 
As well as following 
her teaching career, 
Bette loved to volunteer, travel, 
craft, bake and garden.
She is survived by her children, 
Jennifer (Greg Acker) Ross and 
Eric (Jennifer Hughey) Ross; 
grandchildren, Jake Acker, Isla and 
Gavin Ross; sister, Judy (Chuck) 
Domstein; many nieces, nephews, 
cousins and friends. 
Bette was the beloved wife of the 
late Ronald Rose; daughter of the 
late Esther and Aaron Hyman. 
Contributions may be made to 
the Michael J. Fox Foundation for 
Parkinson’s Research or to a charity 
of one’s choice. Arrangements by 
Dorfman Chapel.
