HURWITZ, 77,
of Farmington
Hills, died July
24, 2024.
She is survived
by her beloved husband,
Bernard Hurwitz; children,
Martine (Gabriel) Zeltzer,
Sean (Rebecca) Hurwitz and
Simone Hurwitz; sisters and
brothers-in-law, Susan and
Edward Kaserzon, Linda
and Brian Garb. She was the
loving grandmother of Kylie,
Tristan, Laura, Lindsey, Noa,
Hannelore, Danielle and
Emma.
Interment was held at

Adat Shalom Memorial
Park Cemetery in Livonia.
Contributions may be
made to St. Jude Children’s
Research Hospital.
Arrangements by Dorfman
Chapel.

MATTHEW LEE
KLETTER, 65,
passed away July
23, 2024, in
Valhalla, N.Y.
He was born
May 5, 1959, in Detroit.
Matthew earned a bachelor’s
degree from the University
of Michigan and went on to
earn his J.D. from Brooklyn
Law School, which set the
foundation for his successful
career as a lawyer. He

practiced law for more than
40 years, with more than 25
years as an entertainment
lawyer, working in the music
business and film industry.
Matthew represented
numerous jazz artists and
record labels, demonstrating
a profound commitment to
the artists and music he loved
deeply.
Matthew had been a
Tarrytown, N.Y., resident for
the past 18 years.
During his college years,
Matthew was active in film
and various clubs. He cared
deeply for his Jewish faith
and frequently attended
the University of Michigan
Chabad.
Matthew’s passion for

music extended beyond his
professional life, as he was
a passionate fan of rock and
roll and jazz, with favorite
bands, including Crosby,
Stills and Nash, the Rolling
Stones, Neil Young, Miles
Davis and the Beatles. His
love for music was not just a
hobby but a significant part
of who he was.
Matthew’s life was marked
by his dedication to his
career and his love for music,
leaving a lasting impact on
those he knew and loved.
His legacy will continue to
live on through his family
and the music community he
cherished.
He is survived by his
children, Marc Kletter and
