Born in Detroit on July 11, 1936, Don graduated from Mumford High School in 1954 and from Wayne State University with a B.A. in history. He also resided in Deerfield, Ill., and Parkland, Fla. He is survived by his children, David Alexander, Deborah (Dr. Robert) Ernst, Alaine Alexander, Gail (Dr. Jason) Weiss; grandchil- dren, Alexis (Matthew Roberts), Matthew and Jason Ernst, Jordan and Andrew (Julianna) Kluge, Eleanor, Daniella, Jonah and Seth Weiss; loving sister, Anita Kay; many cousins, lifelong friends and neighbors. Don was the beloved husband of the late Marian Alexander nee Levine; dear son of the late Dolores nee Goodman and Harvey Alexander; dear son-in-law of the late Gertrude nee Williams and Jacob Levine.
