ummer is the perfect time to enjoy Mother Nature.
We’re not only talking about the weather — we’re
referring to our favorite mama dog, Mother Nature.
This sweet, 4-year-old German Shepherd came to us
with all her babies (who were named after wild animals
like Moose, Wolf, Bear) from a neglectful situation in
Detroit.
All of Mother Nature’s babies have been adopted, and
now she is ready for her forever home.
Mother Nature is an active German who is eager to
learn. She enjoys hiking, long walks and engaging in
enrichment activities like doggy puzzles. Her favorite toys
are Kongs from her friends at Premier Pet Supply in West
Bloomfield.

Detroit Dog Rescue is Detroit’s first no-kill shelter. The
current shelter is located on the west side of Detroit. A
new spay and neuter clinic and outreach center is in the
process of coming to fruition on the east side of Detroit.
