Ms. Sherman
earned her degree
in business at Michigan State University in
East Lansing. Mr. Petracca earned a degree in
software engineering at Cornell University in
Ithaca, N.Y.
A September wedding is planned in Detroit.

the late Avery Gabriel Cohen.
