DR. BRUCE E. 
FOGEL, 76, of 
Farmington 
Hills, died June 
20, 2024. 
He is survived 
by his beloved wife, Marcia 
Fogel; daughters and son-in-
law, Jennifer Fogel, Samantha 
and Adam Mendelsohn; 
brother and sister-in-law, 
Dennis and Cheryl Fogel; 
many other loving family 
members and friends. 
Bruce was the brother of 
the late Mark Fogel and the 
late Ronna Leonard.
Interment was held at 
Adat Shalom Memorial 
Park Cemetery in Livonia. 
Contributions may be 
made to the Michael J. Fox 
Foundation for Parkinsons 
Research. Arrangements by 
Dorfman Chapel.

JANET 
GUGGENHEIM, 
87, of 
Huntington 
Woods, died 
June 20, 2024. 
Janet was born in Detroit 
and lived on 12th Street 
above her dad’s candy 
store with her parents and 
three older brothers for the 
first few years of her life. 
The store, Sosin’s Sodas, 
later moved to Dexter, 
and the family moved to 
Collingwood. But Janet’s 
love for chocolate ice cream 
stayed with her for her whole 
life.
Janet was strong, brave, 
kind and slightly stubborn, 
a quality which endeared 
her to many. She was 
also vocal in her praise of 
others and modest about 
her own accomplishments, 
which included being a
