Dr. Rosenzweig was 
the loving brother of the 
late Sandra and the late 
Sol Rossman, the late 
David and the late Peggy 
Rosenzweig, and the late

Abelson; the devoted son 
of the late Saul and the late 
Ruth Rosenzweig; the dear 
brother-in-law of the late

died June 16,

Her life’s passion was 
her work, and alongside 
her husband, Douglas, and 
son Brian they owned and 
operated one of Detroit’s 
best known jewelry salons 
for more than 90 years. In 
addition to her passion for 

her work, she was a fixture 
in her community, where she 
and her husband engaged 
in numerous philanthropic 
initiatives.
She is survived by her 
daughter, Julie Haimon; 
sons and daughter-in-
law, Ronald Schubot, 
and Brian and Michele 
Schubot; grandchildren, 
Vered Haimon, Ari and 
Zhana Haimon, Galia 
Haimon, Justin Schubot, 
and Zoe Schubot; great-
grandchildren, Meir and 
Hallel Haimon; sisters-
in-law, Pet Nosan and 
Carolyn Nosanchuck; 
many nieces, nephews, 
other family members and 
friends. The family would 
also like to express its 
deepest appreciation to her 
longtime, loving caregivers, 
Duroy Burnett and Sandra 
Reynolds. 
Mrs. Schubot was the 
beloved wife for 63 years of 
the late Douglas Schubot.
