Good friends Judges Michelle Friedman Appel and Lorie Savin pose with their husbands,
Jeffrey Appel and Adam Larky.

More than 100 guests listen to Judge Mark Goldsmith speak on the role of the law in unifying
society.

Before JBAM was established 10 years ago, the B’nai B’rith Barristers provided camaraderie among
Jewish lawyers and judges. Among former B’nai B’rith Barristers who now are JBAM members are
Frank Mamat, Harry Ellman, Howard Lederman, David Sachs, Keith Sirlin and Michael Feldman.

47th District Court Judge Marla Parker
was hailed by Judge Savin as one of
her mentors. “We are so privileged to
have Marla’s knowledge as a judge
representing our community,” Savin said.
