Don will celebrate with his chil- dren and their spouses, Bob (Lynn), Laura (Barry), and Mark (Beth), and his grandchildren, Rachel, Dana, Zachary, Ashley, Bradley, Jason and Jessica, who are spread across Michigan and New Jersey. A nn and Jonathan Podolsky of Bloomfield Hills are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Neela Lauren to Alexander William, son of Tami and William Michalopoulos of Great Neck, N.Y. Neela earned a B.S. degree in fashion business management and a minor in economics at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. She works as an associate assortment planner at Macy’s Inc. in New York. Alex earned a B.S.B.A. degree in accounting and finance from the University of Richmond, Robins School of Business and an M.S. in real estate from Baruch College- Zicklin School of Business. He is a CPA and is the VP of accounting at Innovo Property Group. The couple will marry on Sept. 28, 2024, at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham. L orry and Jerry Cooper of Bloomfield Hills will cele- brate their 60th anniver- sary on June 22, 2024. They treasure 60 years of wonderful memories and will celebrate this occasion with their family. They are thankful for all the good wishes for health and happiness from their family and many friends. After 50 years, they re-met at a Shabes service at Temple Israel. K en Zuppke of West Bloomfield celebrated his 90th birthday on June 6, 2024, surrounded by many of his family members. She is the daughter of Michael and Tiffany Fleischer and sister of Grant and Griffin Fleischer. Proud grandparents are Chuck and Cheryl Vescoso, and George and Linda Fleischer. Gianna attends Cranbrook School in Bloomfield Hills. For a mitzvah project, Gigi worked as a madricha at Shir Shalom, helping with a preschool class all school year, and she loved working with the children. Noah Sorser will become a bar mitzvah at Temple Beth El in Bloomfield Township Saturday, June 22, 2024. He is the son of Dina and Serge Sorser, older broth- er of Hanna, and grandson of Helen and Alex Sorser, and Nina and Mark Shkolnik. Noah is a student at Detroit Country Day Middle School in Beverly Hills. For his mitzvah proj- ect, Noah volunteered at Yad Ezra food bank in Berkley and Coville Assisted Living Facility in Oak Park.
