OBITUARIES OF BLESSED MEMORY 52 | JUNE 6 • 2024 J N ALAN STEVEN MOSER, 73, of St. Clair Shores, passed away peacefully May 10, 2024. He was born in Highland Park, Mich., to Gisela and Ludwig Moser. Alan graduated from Oak Park High School in 1969, continued his education at Oakland University and Wayne State University then graduated from Cooley Law School. Always ambitious, Alan taught school during the day and attended law school at night. Eventually, he started his own successful solo law practice, which he loved deeply, helping countless clients over the years. Alan loved playing golf, was naturally athletic and was a huge sports fan. He also took great pride and pleasure with his impressive toy and memorabilia collection and his toy soldier collection. He was generous beyond words with his time and legal skills. His smile was as big as his heart. He was well respected among his colleagues and had a great sense of humor. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength and courage. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Alan is survived by his loving wife of nearly 39 years, Fran; cherished nieces and nephews; his beloved shih-tzu, Carmine. He was the dearest son-in- law of the late Frances and Paul Rosemann. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research are appreciated. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Rachel Paster and Peter Zwiebach, and Ruth Paster-Davis and Chris Davis; son and daughter-in- law, Leo and Sarah Paster; grandchildren, Alexander Paster-Zwiebach, Nicholas Paster-Zwiebach, Elijah Paster, Lillian Paster, Ivan Davis, Ella Paster, and Franklin Davis; nieces and nephew, Gigi Michaels, Eve Morong and Cliff Michaels; many dear and loving friends. Mrs. Paster was the beloved wife of the late Dorian Paster; the loving sister of the late Eugene Morong; the devoted daughter of the late David and the late Pepi Morong.
