up with Congregation Shir
Tikvah for an Empty Bowls event
highlighting food insecurity.

Courtney Harrison Geese gave an
interactive presentation about food
insecurity, food deserts and food
justice in Detroit.
Highlighted was the incredible
work of service partners, Keep
Growing Detroit. Participants
sorted and packed hundreds of seed
packs for Keep Growing Detroit’s
