DOG OF THE WEEK

H

ello! I am Bobby. I am a male, 3-year-old
(almost 4!) Bearded Collie mix weighing
about 47.8 lbs. I arrived from Texas, and
I am so happy to be here. I heard Michigan is a
great place to find my forever home.
My foster mom says: “Bobby is the sweetest,
most kind pup. He does not have a mean bone
in his body. He is still a little skittish, but he is so
smart and is realizing that he is safe and loved
so those fears are disappearing quickly. He has
gotten the zoomies a couple times and acts like a
little playful puppy.
“His intelligence is off the charts, that is why I
think he will do better in a home with other dogs.
When he sees his foster sister doing something,
he immediately does what she does. He is
working on potty training and is catching on fast.
He has been great with all people and children.
Has not been exposed to cats. He is getting used
to the leash and absolutely loves walks. He walks
great on the leash once you get him going. I am
so proud of how far he has come in such a short
time; he is very easy to love, and we cannot wait
to see him thrive in his forever home.”
Would you like to add the sweetest pup to
your home? Complete an adoption application for
Bobby then. He would love to meet you.
Find out how to adopt Bobby at West
Bloomfield-based almosthomeanimals.org.
