DOG OF THE WEEK

H

ello! My name is Fila. I am a very young
2-year-old, female, wirehaired terrier,
looking for my forever home.
My foster mom says: “Fila is a sweetheart and
such a happy little girl! She loves to just be with
her people, cuddle and give kisses. When she’s
not cuddling, she has fun chewing on a bone,
chasing a ball or just running around. It takes about
2 seconds to fall in love with her once she lays her
eyes on you!”

SOME FILA THINGS:

• She settles in quickly and promises lots of laughs

• Is great with other small and medium-size dogs,
has not met cats yet but should adjust well

• She’s a young lady so she can be gently mouthy
while playing (distract me with toys!)

• She’s almost potty trained, just needs some
additional training

• She’s 8 pounds and loves to be carried around.
Great with kids 5+. All around perfect little lap dog!

If you have fallen in love with Fila (and how
could you not), please complete an adoption
application. Visit the Almost Home website today
at: almosthomeanimals.org. Fila is based out of
West Bloomfield.
