Husband-and-wife team Tal
and Roy Yahalomi create
handcrafted home accesso-
ries and Judaica from their
studio in Tel Aviv. Listed
on Etsy as Yaholomis, they
offer contemporary ceramic
pieces, like this minimalist
creamy-white Kiddush Cup
and Saucer Set, engraved
with a vine leaf (to sym-
bolize Gefen, “grapevine”
in Hebrew) and filled with
24K gold; they also offer a
similarly designed Mezuzah
Case, to which a kosher
scroll can be added, with
a gold- or silver-filled Shin
(symbolizing the word “God,”
or the “Guardian of the
Jewish doors”). Etsy.com/

Upon coming to Israel, Lev Shneiderman — born in the for-
mer Soviet Union and now a survivor of Oct. 7 — “yearned
to give shape and form to his beliefs and ideals.” From his
studio in Israel’s Negev Desert, Shneiderman handcrafts
modern, majestic Judaica from stainless steel and alumi-
num. His work is displayed in several universities in Israel,
including Hebrew University, medical centers, the Knesset
and has been presented as gifts by Israeli leaders and dig-
nitaries — Shneiderman himself presented a gift to Prime
Minister Ariel Sharon. These handmade Art Deco Brass
Candlesticks are engraved with a sliver of blue peeking
through. Israeliartnow.org; levshneiderman.com.
