hapter meetings, regional
conventions at the JCC, Milan
or Bittker Weekends, beaus and
sweethearts ... If this means anything to
you, then you belong at a Celebration
of the Century when Michigan Region
celebrates 100 years of AZA, BBG and
BBYO with a once-in-a century-reunion.
On May 3, 1924, a group of teens in
Omaha, Nebraska, founded AZA and,
shortly after that, the first chapter was
founded in Grand Rapids. Over the
years, BBYO has reached millions of
teens in the U.S. and dozens of countries
throughout the world.
BBYO Michigan Region gives teens
a chance to develop leadership skills
to make a positive, significant impact
on our community and themselves.
BBYO experience provides Jewish teens
with meaningful Jewish experiences in
the hopes that they become the Jewish
leaders of the future, and they have!
We are so excited to be celebrating 100
years of providing teens with their first
leadership experience and what that has
meant to our world.
Join us on Thursday, May 2, at
Congregation Beth Ahm in West
Bloomfield as we reconnect with old
friends, reminisce about cherished
memories, celebrate the profound impact
that AZA, BBG and BBYO has had on
our lives and help ensure memories will
be made for another 100 years.
