Eve Kommel is survived 
by her daughters, Deby

Kommel; grandchildren, 
Jeffrey Baxter (Cheryl), Blair 
Krueger (Keith), Lauren 
Shaffer (Matt), Scott Meyers, 
David Meyers (Shirley) and 
Will Meyers (Kate); great-
grandchildren, Kyle, Max, Ava, 
Ari, Ellie, Blake and Annie; 
her sister, Margot Gardner 
(Herbie); nephews, Glen 
(Leslie) and Marty Gardner 

(Stephanie); nieces, Lynn 
Orszig (Tom Cano), Laynie 
Klein (Paul), Judy Scatterday 
(Dave) and Nancy Fogelman 
(Danny). 
Eve Kommel was 
predeceased by her parents, 
Paul and Erica Corby; 
her husband of 47 years, 
Richard Kommel; her son, 
Eric Kommel; and longtime 
companion, Charles (Chub) 
White. 
Family and friends will 
come together this summer to 
celebrate her life. Donations

RENA 
LITTMAN, 74, of 
Bloomfield Hills, 
died March 18, 
2024. 
She is survived 
by her son and daughter-in-
law, Adam and Catherine 
Littman; niece and nephew, 
Lisa Krit Randall (Anthony), 
Ronald Krit (Erika). She was 
the devoted sister of Caren 
Krit; sister-in-law of Marian 
Littman, Sylvia (the late Alvin) 
Schultz, Walter (the late 
Delores) Littman. She is also 
survived by many other loving 
family members and a world 

of devoted friends. 
Rena was the beloved wife 
of the late Marvin Littman.
Interment took place at 
Clover Hill Park Cemetery in 
Birmingham. Contributions 
may be made to the Holocaust 
Memorial Center, the 
Marvin Littman Memorial 
Fund at Temple Israel, ALS 
Association Michigan Chapter 
or the Michigan Humane
