honeymoon in southern Spain.

birth of their son, Liam Aaron Avshalumov.
Liam is the brother of Sonia and Jacob
Avshalumov. He is the grandson of Slava
and Rina Avshalumov, and Dr. Larry and Lisa Kaplan;
and the great-grandson of the late Dr. Jerome
Kaufman, Suzanne Curtis, Shelmu Khaimov and Sonya
Cherkasova, the late Dr. Aaron and Marilyn Kaplan, and
the late Mordechai and Tamara Avshalumov.

Woods are excited to announce the birth
of their daughter and bundle of joy, Ivy
Alexandra. Proud sisters Phoebe and Josie
are absolutely thrilled to have a baby sis-
ter. Ivy is the granddaughter of Nancy and Dan Blake
(Bubbie and Zaydie) of Huntington Woods, and Judit
and Richard Price (Nana and Grandpa) of Naples, Fla. Ivy
and her Grandpa Richard share the same birthday. Ivy is
also the great-granddaughter of Alvin and Carol Levine
of Bloomfield Hills, and Rose Dendel of Oak Park. Ivy is
named in loving memory of her paternal great-grandfa-
ther Alexander. Ivy’s Hebrew name is Aviva Bracha, after
her maternal great-grandmother Beverly Levine.

Jacob Alexander Brayman (Avshalom) of
Birmingham became a bar mitzvah at
Congregation Shaarey Zedek in Southfield
on Saturday, March 16, 2024. Participating in
the ceremony were parents Vadim and
Albina Brayman, older brother Aaron
Brayman and younger sister Leana Brayman. Proud
grandparents are Semyon and Roza Brayman, and
Albert and Hanna Pinkhasov of West Bloomfield.
Jacob is a seventh-grade student at Birmingham
Covington School.
