hen West Bloomfield native Dr.
David Kam opened his first dental
practice more than 20 years ago,
he knew he had some big aspirations. But fast
forward to 2024 and even he would tell you
that he exceeded his own expectations. Along
with an incredible group of dental professionals,
Dr. David Kam, and the entire Lifetime Dental
team, are honored to continue to serve the
Jewish communities of Metro Detroit. Dr. David
Kam, founder and owner of Lifetime Dental,
has spent the last 27 years building smiles
and creating memories. After completing
an advanced general dental residency, Dr.
Kam’s experience and expertise has made
him an expert in all major aspects of dentistry
including root canals, implant dentistry, and full
smile makeovers. His greatest passions lie in full
mouth restoration, helping to restore function
and flair to smiles across the community. When
not at the office, you might find Dr. Kam on the
tennis court, on the West Bloomfield Trail, or
spending time with his wife Michelle and their
three sons, Josh, Zach, and Noah.
Dr. Kevin Malerman was born and raised
in the West Bloomfield area. After graduating
from The University of Michigan School of
Dentistry, Dr. Malerman has devoted his career
to providing patient centered dental care,
getting to know each patient and their specific
goals. While not at work, Dr. Malerman loves
playing golf, spending time with his Fiancee
Mikayla, and taking his labradoodle Murphy on
long walks.
Dr. David Banooni is a lifelong resident of the
Metro Detroit community. Upon graduating
from the University of Detroit Mercy School
of Dentistry, Dr. Banooni began working with
Dr. Kam at Lifetime Dental. He is committed
to serving his patients with the utmost
compassion. His favorite part of dentistry
revolves around getting his patients out of
chronic pain. Dr. Banooni has been
on 4 mission trips to the Dominican Republic
helping underserved populations gain access to
dental care.
But Lifetime Dental wouldn’t be possible
without the help of Dr. Robin Bernard for the
last 20 years. Dr. Bernard has proudly served
the patients of Metro Detroit with Lifetime
Dental. Her compassionate approach and
chairside manner make her a favorite with
pediatric patients and young adults. Dr. Robin
loves to play tennis, travel and spend time with
her four children.
Dr. Jasmine Sesi has a passion for
helping patients. Her gentle demeanor and
calming presence help to put even the most
apprehensive of patients at ease. As a young
mother, Dr. Sesi loves treating children and
family members of every age! Dr. Sesi loves
spending time with her family, has a passion for
athletics and discovering new places.
And now, Lifetime Dental is proud to expand
our dental services to include a top notch
Periodontist (gum specialist), Dr. Shabnam
Behdin. Dr. Behdin brings with her some of
the newest techniques in dental gum therapy
including a laser that is designed to treat your
gum disease and failing implants in a minimally
invasive way. Her goal is to educate her patients
on the benefits of oral health and then help
reduce the health risks associated with gum
disease.
Dr. Behdin has multiple national and
international research presentations. She lives
in Michigan with her family, enjoys traveling,
watching movies, and listening to music. •
