PHYLLIS JOYE
MADISON, 92,
of Farmington
Hills, died March
3, 2024.
She is
survived by her daughters
and son-in-law, Amy Beth
Garber and Lisa Hilary
Chapman (Michael Crane);
grandchildren, Evan Jacob
Chapman (fiancée, Nicole
Armstrong) and Dana Emily
Chapman (Zac Tytgat). She
is also survived by many
other loving family members
and friends.
Phyllis was the beloved
wife of the late David Lloyd
Madison, sister of the late
Kenneth Sutherland and the
late Lillian Ainbinder.
Contributions may be

made to the Detroit Institute
of Arts or any charity of
one’s choice. Arrangements
by Dorfman Chapel.

RHODA ANN
MILGRIM, 90, of
West Bloomfield
Township, died
Feb. 20, 2024.
She was the
mother of Michael (Louie)
Rycus; and daughter of the
late Irving and Mary Saliter,
and sister of late Lorraine
(Saliter) Sussman.
A memorial will be at
a date in April. Contact
Michael Rycus for more
information. Donations may
be made to the charity of
your choice.

CLAIRE
RAMINICK, 92,
of Southfield,
died Feb. 28,
2024.
Her favorite
times were spent traveling
with her husband, Leo, all
across America in their RV.
She was a very involved
grandmother, rarely missing
an important game or
performance. She was an
avid sports fan, especially
to her “boys,” the Detroit
Tigers. She never missed a
game, and Leo often said,
“I’m the only husband who
gets the paper and hands the
sports section to his wife.’” In
the early years, she could be
seen in the stands cheering
on Leo, the umpire, and

keeping score.
Claire was born on Nov.
24, 1931, to Jules and Rose
Suberoff in Detroit. She
lived a full, happy and
simple life in Southfield. She
was the mother of Shelley
(Raymond) Spaulding, Shaye,
Sherwin and Shari (Howard)
Resnick. In addition to being
a devoted mother, Claire was
a beloved grandmother and
great-grandmother, adored
by her grandchildren and
great-grandchildren, who
brought her immeasurable
joy and nachas. She was the
grandmother of Matthew
(Jennifer) Raminick,
Kimberly (Douglas)
Chenoweth, Daniel
(Holly Hintz) Raminick,
Kourtney Spaulding (Cory
