daughter Shifrah Devorah Haney on Feb. 3, 
2023. Grandparents are Harvey and Nancy 
Rubinstein, and Craig and Lorraine Haney. 

Abe and Leslee Markose of Royal Oak are 
thrilled to announce the arrival of their daughter, 
Mia Adalee, on Jan. 9, 2024. Proud big sister is 
Delilah Rachel. Loving grandparents are Diane 
and Dr. Steven Klein of West Bloomfield, and 
Beena Markose of Austin, Texas. Mia is also 
granddaughter to the late Dilip Markose.

Matzkin-Bridger 
(Talia Chana) of 
West Bloomfield 
will become a bat 
mitzvah on 
Saturday, March 16, 2024, 
with Rabbi Jason Miller offici-
ating. She is the daughter of 
Rachel and Todd Matzkin-
Bridger and sister of Ari. Her 
grandparents are William 
and Judy Stern, and Andrew 
and Donna Bridger. 
Talia is a student at South 
Hills Middle School in 
Bloomfield Hills. She raised 
money and donated items 
in need to Almost Home 
Animal Rescue, where she 
adopted her dog, Miggy. 
She also made friendship 
bracelets and positive affir-
mation jars for Our House 
Clubhouse, a psycho- 
social program designated 
for those diagnosed with 
behavioral health challenges 
in memory of her cousin, 
Nicole Gittleman.

Morgan Rose 
Murav, daughter 
of Randi Murav 
and Joel Murav, 
will lead the con-
gregation in 
prayer as a bat mitzvah at 
Temple Israel in West 
Bloomfield on Saturday, 
March 16, 2024. She will be 
joined in celebration by her 

brothers, Mason and Miles. 
Morgan is the loving grand-
child of Susan and Joe 
Brennan, Nancy and Ron 
Holton, and Robin Tobin-
Murav and Avery Murav. She 
is the adoring great-grand-
child of Helen Barnett. 
Morgan is a student at 
Clifford Smart Middle School 
in Commerce Township. Her 
most meaningful mitzvah 
project was volunteering at 
Friendship Circle in West 
Bloomfield, where she spent 
time forming lasting friend-
ships with children who have 
special needs. 

Hudson Wurn 
(Levi) of 
Birmingham will 
become a bar 
mitzvah at 
Temple Beth El in 
Bloomfield Township on 
March 16, 2024. Proud par-
ents are Carly and Keith 
Wurn. Hudson is the brother 
of Dallas Wurn. Hudson’s 
grandparents are Jackie and 
Larry Kraft, Lori and Mark 
Wurn, and Jan Hogeboom.
Hudson is a student at 
Derby Middle School in 
Birmingham. For his mitz-
vah project, Hudson raised 
$4,000 for the American 
Friends of Magen David 
Adom to help with the war 
that was started against 
Israel on Oct. 7, 2023.
