OF BLESSED MEMORY
DONNA M.
BARNETT,
beloved for 93
years, died Feb.
26, 2024, sur-
rounded by her
family.
She was born Jan. 31,
1931, in Detroit to Louis and
Viola Weiss, and moved to
California as a young child
following the tragic auto-
mobile accident death of her
father.
Not one to have the dust
settle under her, Donna
married Robert Barnett and
graduated from Wayne State
University in Detroit after
spending a single year each at
the University of California
Berkley, UCLA, and the
University of Michigan. She
spent most of her adult life
in the Detroit area before set-
tling in Boca Raton, Florida.
Donna will be deeply missed
for her zest for life, friendship,
giving nature and concern for
others.
Her passions and inspira-
tion live on in her cherished
family. Donna is survived by
her three sons, Steven Barnett
(Stacey), David Barnett and
James Barnett (Julie); and her
grandchildren, Brian, Michael
and Amanda.
Funeral services were held
Friday, March 1, at Temple
Beth El, located at 333 SW
4th Ave., Boca Raton, FL
33432. Interment took place
at Beth El Mausoleum of
Boca Raton. In lieu of flow-
ers, the family requests that
donations be made to the

JOAN BRODE,
86, of Huntington
Woods, died Feb.
24, 2024.
Mrs. Brode is
survived by her
sons and daughter-in-law, Jon
Brode, and Robert and Tori
Brode; grandchildren, Sloane
and Asher Brode.
She was the beloved wife
of the late Dr. Herbert Brode,
the dear sister of the late
Robert Schneider, and the
devoted daughter of the late
John and the late Shirley
Schneider.
Interment was at Clover
Hill Park Cemetery.

He was the beloved hus-
band of the late Marilyn
Felder and the cherished
father of the late Fred Felder
and the late Laura Felder.
