GOREN, 81, of 
Farmington Hills, 
died Feb. 16, 
2024. 
She is survived 
by her beloved husband, 
Aaron Goren; son and 
daughter-in-law, Rick and 
Jennifer Goren; daughter 
and partner, Lisa Goren and 
Meg Grimes; grandchildren, 
Shayna, Sammy Goren, 
Hugo, Max Grimes; broth-
er-in-law, Kal Goren; aides, 
Shalisa Patterson, Pat Dukes, 
Oletha Richardson, Shirley 
Butler, Vanessa Baskin; many 
other family members and 
friends. 
Sherry was the beloved 
daughter of the late Sam and 
the late Sonia Resnick; the sis-
ter-in-law of the late Miriam 
Goren and the late Hershel 
Goren.
Interment took place 
at Beth El Memorial Park 
Cemetery in Livonia. 
Contributions may be made 
to the Michael Zaks Fund 
at Camp Tamarack or to the 
Robert Sosnick Family Life 
Center Endowment Fund at 
Temple Israel. Arrangements 
by Dorfman Chapel.

devoted family 
man, passed away peacefully 
on Feb. 17, 2024, in 
Scottsdale, Ariz. Dr. Komer 
leaves behind a legacy of ser-
vice, love and cherished mem-
ories.
