Bloomfield Hills
celebrated his 95th
birthday in Naples, Fla. Those
celebrating include his wife,
Carol; his children, Marc and
Ute Levine, Nancy and Daniel
Blake, Bruce and Cindy Levine,
and Lisa and Jon Adler; his
grandchildren, Jessica Blake
and Benji Benoliel, Emily
and Jason Price, Sam Blake,
James and Lindsay Robinson,
Katie Robinson and Ben Robinson, Blake Levine, Alec
Levine, Shane Levine and Drew Levine, Anna Levine,
and Rebecca Levine; and great-grandchildren, Maya and
Ari Benoliel, and Phoebe, Josie and Ivy Price; his sister,
Judy; and many stepchildren and stepgrandchildren. He
received calls all day from family and friends.

Moss, son of
Nicole and
Marc Moss, will
be called to the
Torah as a bar
mitzvah at Temple Israel in
West Bloomfield on Friday,
March 1, 2024. He will be
joined in celebration by his
sister, Elliana. Ari is the
loving grandchild of
Danielle and Stuart Leff,
and Marsha and Jerry
Moss.
He is a student at South
Hills Middle School in
Bloomfield Hills. Ari’s
most meaningful mitzvah
project was creating care
packages for the residents
at Jewish Senior Life.
Sydney
Scheinker,
daughter of
Erica and Aaron
Scheinker, will
lead the
congregation in prayer as
a bat mitzvah at Temple
Israel in West Bloomfield
on Saturday, March 2,
2024. She will be joined in
celebration by her
brothers, Logan and
Grayson. Sydney is the
loving grandchild of Emily
and Henry Khinchuk, and
Marsha and Barry Levine.
She is a student at
Walnut Creek Middle
School in West Bloomfield.
Sydney’s most meaningful
mitzvah project was
volunteering her time
with the elderly at Jewish
Senior Life.
Sammy
Shanbaum, son
of Jason and
Sofia
Shanbaum was
called to the
Torah as bar mitzvah in
Birmingham on Saturday,
Feb. 24, 2024. Sammy is
the grandchild of Melody
and Herb Shanbaum, and
Nadia and Edward
Matskin.
He is a student at Farber
Yeshiva in Southfield.
