Birmingham, died
Feb. 7, 2024.
Mr. Rogers is

in-law, Ronald and Frances
Rogers; sister, Karen Starr;

He was predeceased by
his beloved wife of 64 years,
Leslie Rogers; his sons, Irvin
L. Rogers and Darryl S.
Rogers; brother-in-law, Fred
Starr; his parents, Irvin A.
and Audrie L. Rogers.

GERALD ROZANOFF, doc-
tor of optometry, passed away
on Feb. 7, 2024.
Jerry was born on June
20, 1949. He was a resident
of South Haven Nursing
and Rehabilitation. Jerry
graduated from Michigan
State University, and after
completing his degree at
the Pennsylvania College of
Optometry (Salus University),
he began practicing in
Kalamazoo with David Rose,
OD. He was best known as
a Pearle Vision doctor and
owned four locations, includ-
ing one at Southland Mall in
Portage, Mich.
Jerry enjoyed bowling,
Motown music, especial-
ly Marvin Gaye and the
Temptations, playing the
piano, classical and jazz music,
and was quite a talented close-
up magician. He also enjoyed
shoes and was always on the
search for a new pair that
would be fashionable and fit
his narrow feet.
Jerry is survived by his sis-
ter, Anita Newman of Arizona;
and his sons, Seth Aaron
Rozanoff and Peter Samuel
Joseph Rozanoff. He was the
son of the late Abe and Sarah.
Cremation has taken place,
and there is no planned funer-
al service. Those who wish
to donate in Jerry’s memory
may consider Rose Arbor
Hospice, 5473 Croyden Ave.,
Kalamazoo, MI 49009.
Baruch dayan emet; Blessed
be the one true Judge. After
years of suffering and unhap-
