The Jewish Federation
of Detroit will hold an
informational meeting
about the opportunity
to be a host family for
an Israeli camper this
summer. Each summer,
Federation brings dozens
of Israeli campers from our
Partnership2Gether region
to Tamarack Camps. This
program strengthens the
Jewish identity of both
Americans and Israelis and
creates new relationships,
which are the life source of
Partnership. Host families
are expected to attend
the host family welcome
dinner, along with hosting
2-3 Israeli campers for
two nights (Friday and
Saturday) following their
session at camp. If you
are unable to attend in
person, a Zoom option will
be available. Please note
during registration if you
wish to join virtually. Zoom
link will be sent to virtual
participants 48 hours prior

reported this remarkable
story. The community
is invited to view the
exhibit and hear from
Mike Smith, the exhibit’s
curator. He will talk about
the process of curating
the exhibit, the specific
stories included, and he
will answer questions.
Shabbat services begin at
9:30 am followed by the
lunch-and-learn at noon.
