ARTHUR 
GOLDMAN, 85, 
of Bloomfield 
Hills and Delray 
Beach, Fla., died 
peacefully in his home Jan. 
20, 2024, surrounded by the 
warmth of his loving family.
Originally from 
Pittsburgh, Sheldon, born 
to Seymour and Martha 
(Katzer) Goldman, moved to 
Huntington Woods. During 
his youth, he attended 
Cranbrook, Dondero High, 
Wayne State University and 
the University of Chicago. 
Sheldon devoted 
more than 57 years to 
the insurance industry, 
co-founding Lubin Schwartz 

& Goldman, which later 
became LSG Insurance 
Partners. His commitment 
to community service was 
evident through leadership 
roles in organizations such 
as chairman of State of Israel 
Bonds, JCC Board, and as 
the president of Knollwood 
Country Club.
Sheldon shared 56 years 
of his life with his beloved 
wife, Rose Rita. Together, 
they built a beautiful 
family, leaving behind 
daughters and sons-in-law, 
Ilyse Goldman Aaron and 
Sanford Aaron, and Andrea 
Goldman Jacobson and 
David Jacobson. Sheldon’s 
legacy extends through his 
cherished grandchildren,
