KOTZEN, 91, of 
Delray Beach, 
Fla., died Jan. 24, 
2024. 
She is survived 
by her daughter and son-
in-law, Karon and William 
Denniston; son-in-law, 
Steven (Debbie) Blair; 
grandchildren, Danielle 
(Craig Gaertner) Blair, 
Stephanie (Zach) Leve, Adam 
Kotzen, Matthew Kotzen 
and Bradley Kotzen; seven 
great-grandchildren; many 
nieces, nephews, other family 
members and friends. 
Selma was the beloved 
wife of the late Alan Kotzen; 
mother of the late Michael 
Kotzen; sister of the late 
Lawrence (the late Lois) 
Berman and the late Bernice 
(the late Abe) Clapfish. 
Interment was held at 
Machpelah Cemetery in 
Ferndale. Contributions may 
be made to a charity of one’s

ILANA TAUBER, 86, of 
Sherman Oaks, Calif., died 
Jan. 20, 2024. 
She is survived by her 
sons, Sylvan (Cathy Redding) 
Tauber and Adam (Edris) 
Tauber; grandchildren, 
Amelia Tauber, Claire 
Tauber and Maya Tauber; 
brother, Eli (Barbara Bloom) 
Greenbaum; sister-in-law, 
Mimi Diller; many loving 
nieces, nephews, great-nieces 

and great-nephews. 
She was the loving 
daughter of the late Kuno 
and the late Ada Greenbaum.

DANIEL S. 
TOPPER, 85, of 
Margate, Fla.. 
formerly of 
Detroit, died Dec. 
10, 2023.
Daniel was a good man 
who lived life to the fullest. 
He worked hard to provide 
for his family and loved 
travel, bowling, playing 
cards, golfing and giving 
time to many charities. 
He was a Mason (Masonic 
Temple), Goodfellow, 
Shriner, and he loved to play 
Santa Claus for children at 
DTE for more than 20 years. 
Daniel will be missed very 
much by all who knew him.
He was the beloved 
husband, for just shy of 50 
years, of the late Brenda F. 
Topper. 
Mr. Topper is survived 
by his son, Seth Topper; 
granddaughter, Wannisa 
Sriphakdee; sister-in-law, 
Karen Haydu; multiple 
friends and acquaintances. 
To make a donation, 
Daniel’s favorite charity 
was Magen David Adom. A 
charity of one’s own choice 
would also be appropriate.

HADLEY WINE, 
78, of Huntington 
Woods, died Jan. 
17, 2024, in 
Florida as a result 
of COVID 
pneumonia. 
He graduated from 
Mumford, MSU and Wayne 
Law. He practiced law for 
more than 50 years at the 
firm Kepes and Wine and 

continued to practice with 
his son, Robert, for the past 
two decades. 
Hadley was very active and 
lived a full and busy life. He 
and his wife, Beverly, enjoyed 
collecting art. He enjoyed 
drinking and collecting wine. 
He also enjoyed golfing, 
gardening, traveling, food, 
sporting events and feeding 
the fish in his koi pond. He 
was a member of Knollwood 
and Ballenisles country clubs 
and Adat Shalom Synagogue.
Hadley is survived by his 
wife, Beverly; sons, Jason 
and Robert (Tarin Gitlin); 
grandchildren, Leah and 
Benjamin Wine; brothers, 
Barry and Gary Wine; 
sister, Sheree Wine; nieces, 
nephews, cousins and the 
extended Braiker family. 
He was predeceased by his 
mother, Lillian, and father, 
Irving Wine. 
Interment was at Hebrew 
Memorial Park Cemetery.

DAVID 
SAMUEL 
WEISMAN, 55, 
of Wixom, died 
on Jan. 22, 2024. 
For 30 years, 
David was a journeyman 
inside wireman of the IBEW 
Local 58. From daily calls 
just to check in and see if 

everyone was OK to calls to 
his widespread family, family 
always came first. David 
brought his sense of humor 
and love of life to everything 
he did. 
He is survived by his son, 
Aiden Weisman; sister and 
brother-in-law, Sara and 
Ben Young; parents, Judie 
and Larry Weisman; former 
wife and friend, Jackie 
Weisman; many loving aunts, 
uncles, cousins, friends and 
coworkers.
