Harry was a graduate of 
Deerfield Academy and 
MSU Agricultural Science 
Program. In 1953, he 
married Joan Friederichs, 
his wife of 63 years. 
Harry is survived by his 
daughter, Barbara Lydia, 
and her husband, Harold 
Hanson; son, Harris Lewis 
III (Chip); and his wife, 
Paula Winston; grandson, 
Harry L. Winston IV. He 
has two surviving sisters, 
Sally Winston Robinson and 
Ernestine Winston Ruben 
The family requests 
memorial donations be
