Whether it’s his ability to get shots on net or work in the defensive zone, he has become an intriguing prospect that fans should keep an eye on.” ABBOTSFORD CANUCKS Max Sasson is introduced to the Abbotsford Canucks crowd as the No. 1 star following a game last season. Bowling League Gets Rolling After a Break for Football Competition resumed Monday after a holiday break in the weekly Brotherhood-Eddie Jacobson B’nai B’rith bowling league. Jan. 8 was the scheduled restart date, but there was a distraction. “We canceled bowling that night because of the Michigan foot- ball game,” said League Secretary Gary Klinger, referencing the Michigan-Washington national championship game, won by the Wolverines. “So many guys in the league either went to the game (in Houston), or were planning to stay home and watch it,” Klinger said. The canceled week of bowling was added to the end of the 13-week second half of the season. The Motley Crew made news in the 24-team league as 2023 ended.
