More than 500 people joined the
fifth annual Menorah Lighting in
Downtown Royal Oak organized by
the Royal Oak Chabad Jewish
Center.
The guests enjoyed an Ice
Menorah Lighting, commun-
ity video, LED robot, “Gelt drop”
of chocolate coins from the
ladder of a fire truck, music, big

kids activity zone and, of course,
Chanukah food and much more.
This was a great opportunity to
show Jewish pride in this diffi-
cult time.
This event is one of many
provided for the Jewish community
living in the Woodward corridor
throughout the year by Royal Oak
Chabad Jewish Center.
