THE JHCN TEAM SALUTES THE LEGACY AND

MOURNS THE LOSS OF OUR MORAL INSPIRATION
RABBI A. IRVING SCHNIPPER

Z’L

APRIL 25, 1927  NOVEMBER 24, 2023

A GUIDING LIGHT WHO MADE PEOPLE AND PRINCIPLE

THE FOUNDATION OF HIS LIFE OF SERVICE TO OTHERS

Rabbi A. Irving Schnipper was a chaplain's chaplain, a shepherd to his flock at

Beth Abraham Hillel Moses, an advocate of food security in our community, and

a champion for the frail, the sick and the elderly without regard to their status or

affiliation. Universally loved by his colleagues and the families he served, Rabbi

Schnipper is remembered by JHCN’s staff as a man of great conviction and

integrity. We will always remember the way he greeted everyone with a quick joke

or a meaningful story, accompanied by a warm smile and a twinkle in his eyes.
