and Ronald Berris. 
She is a student at 
South Hills Middle School 
in Bloomfield Hills. Olivia’s 
most meaningful mitzvah 
project was volunteering 
at a local animal shelter.

Marissa Carly 
Hochberg, 
daughter of

Hochberg, will 

be called to the Torah as 
a bat mitzvah at Temple 
Israel in West Bloomfield 
on Saturday, Nov. 18, 
2023. She will be joined 
in celebration by her 
sister Andrea. Marissa is 
the loving grandchild of 
Judith and the late Myron 
Ginsberg, the late Ernest 
Schoenfeld, and Sharon 
and the late Ted 
Hochberg. 
She is a student at 
Warner Middle School 
in Farmington Hills. 
Marissa’s most meaningful 
mitzvah project was 
working with the West 
Oakland Chapter of the 
American Sewing Guild, 
where she designed and 
sewed pillowcases that 
were donated to children 
and adolescent patients 
at Hawthorn Center in
