Richard was the proud 
son of the late Barnet and 
the late Ida Leland. He was 
also preceded in death by his 
doting sisters, Sylvia (Bernie) 
Bielous, Beatrice Leland, Hilda 
Levitan.
Interment was at Beth El 
Memorial Park. Contributions

STUART 
PINSKY, 74, of 
Farmington Hills, 
died Oct. 8, 2023. 
He will be 
remembered for 
his love of family and friends 
and his passion for music and 
singing. 
Mr. Pinsky is survived by 
his wife, Roberta; son and 
daughter-in-law, Dr. Benjamin 
Pinsky and Dr. Thuy Doan 
of San Fransisco, Calif.; 

daughter, Marla Pinsky of 
Farmington Hills; sisters and 
brothers-in-law, Frances and 
Dr. Robert Harris, Gail and 
Brian Depalma; brothers-in-
law and sisters-in-law, Howard 
and Gayle Eder, Nadine Eder; 
many loving nieces, nephews, 
cousins, extended family and 
friends. 
Stuart was the dear brother-
in-law of the late Dr. Jeffrey 
Eder.

DR. DONNA 
ROCKWELL 
SMILOVITZ, 66, 
of Franklin, died 
Oct. 7, 2023. 
She is survived 
by her husband of 38 years, 
Bernie Smilovitz; sons and 
daughters-in-law, Zachary 
Smilovitz and Alysha Glenn, 
Jacob Smilovitz and Laura 
Flusty; grandchildren, Eloise, 
Sebastian and Isabel Smilovitz; 
brother and sister-in-law, 
Joshua and Clare Rockwell; 
sister, Leah Rockwell; brother-
in-law, Harvey Smilovitz; 
nieces and nephew, Ava and 
Lily Rockwell, Shaina and 
Michael Smilovitz. She is also 
survived by Barbara Helton 
and other loving relatives and 
friends. 
Dr. Rockwell Smilovitz was 
the devoted daughter of the 
late Elen Schwartz.
