KLEIN-HORDS,
84, died Sept. 27,
2023, in
Savannah, Ga.,
from Parkinson’s and
dementia yet lived with a
gentle spirit and positive
outlook.
This mom was a caring,
generous and beautiful
woman, who loved art,
culture, gardening, travel and
volunteering. She graduated
from Oakland University at
age 60.
She was dearly loved by
her boys, Joel and Glenn;
their wives, Martina and
Rosie; four grandchildren;
five great-grandchildren.
Her brother, Gary; niece,
Dory; and nephew, Rick were
loving constants in her life.
She was blessed with many
dear friends.
A celebration of her life is
planned for next summer in
Detroit.
CARL FISCHER,
82, of White
Lake, died Oct. 1,
2023. He was a
loving father,
grandfather,
cousin and friend
to many.
Carl was a teacher at Oak
Park High School and later
worked in the insurance
industry before returning
to the classroom in Walled
Lake.
Mr. Fischer is survived
by his son, Adam Fischer;
daughter, Andrea Fischer;
stepson and daughter-in-
law, Lauren Becker and
Nancie Rakotz Becker;
granddaughter, Hannah
Becker.
He was the devoted son
of the late Mark and the late
Frances Fischer.

the late Minnie Spinner (the
late Herman), the late Rose
Harrison (the late Harry);
the loving uncle of the late
Sandra Sherman (the late
Morris), the late Shelly (the
late Herb) Sokol, the late
Merwyn Herman, and the
late Dennis Herman; dear
son of the late Ida and the
late Barnett Fleishman.

Clover Hill Park Cemetery
