he Jewish Federation
of Greater Ann Arbor
is thrilled to share
exciting news that embodies
growth, connection and
inclusivity. In a leap toward
the future, we’re excited to
reveal the transformation
of our young adult
programming from “Jewish
Young Professionals” to
“NEXTGen of Greater
Ann Arbor,” affectionately
known as “NEXTGen A2.”

WHAT’S IN A NAME?
A LOT!
This exciting shift is fueled
by our deep commitment to
a more vibrant, welcoming
community. By changing
our name to NEXTGen A2,
we’re aligning ourselves
with similar groups across
North America using
“NEXTGen” to represent
the next generation of
leaders propelling the
broader Jewish community
forward. We’re creating an
open, inclusive space for
individuals in their 20s
and 30s, encompassing
recent college graduates,
graduate students, parents,

professionals and
more.

CLARITY AND
PURPOSE
Our choice of NEXTGen
A2 underscores our focus
on nurturing the next
generation of trailblazers,
thinkers and creators
within the Greater Ann
Arbor Jewish community.
This modern and direct
name better represents
the diverse life stages we
warmly embrace.

A JOURNEY INTO
TOMORROW
We’re more than a
name change; we’re
embarking on a journey
of new experiences,
deep connections and
meaningful impact.
Together, we’re steering the
ship of Ann Arbor’s Jewish
community into a brighter
tomorrow. Whether
you’re a recent graduate, a
devoted parent, a dynamic
professional,or just looking
to connect, NEXTGen A2 is
your space.
Join us on this thrilling

adventure. We’re excited to
introduce NEXTGen A2
as the gateway to a more
vibrant, connected and
inclusive future. As we
uncover the possibilities
that lie ahead, stay tuned
for updates.

WHAT’S COMING
SOON?
This October, NEXTGen
A2 is presenting two
wonderful fall-themed
events. On Oct. 8, we will
be hosting Fall Fun Day,
which will include multiple
stops at some fall favorite
local gems. On Oct. 28, we
will celebrate Halloween
Jewishly, complete with
costumes, havdala and
plenty of sugar. We would
love to have you there!
Embrace the NEXTGen
experience — your pass to
shaping an even brighter
Jewish community, not just
in the Ann Arbor area, but
beyond,
