The Earth Angels, a high-energy
performing arts group comprised
of talented young Metro Detroiters,
got a big surprise after their recent
toe-tapping, finger-snapping con-
cert at Jewish Senior Life’s Meer
Apartments on Sept. 10.
At the conclusion of the show, the
appreciative residents presented the
entertainers with a check for $500
toward the purchase of a new trailer
needed to transport their costumes
and props. Bonnie Murphy, who
volunteers her time to promote and
schedule appearances for the Earth
Angels, a nonprofit organization,
told residents that they were “the
best audience in the whole wide
world.”
WXYZ-TV’s multimedia journal-
ist Faraz Javed was also at the event
filming a television news story.
