PLAY PREMIERES

The Inspired Acting Company 
in Walled Lake, 1124 E. West 
Maple Road, will present a 
powerful and thought-pro-
voking production of Cadillac 
Crew by acclaimed play-
wright Tori Sampson. It is a 
mesmerizing exploration of 
family, identity and the com-
plexities of the human expe-
rience set against the back-
drop of a changing America. 
Performances are Friday and 
Saturday nights at 8 pm, and 
Sundays at 2 pm. General 
admission tickets are $35 
and $30 (under 30/over 65).

Seating in the theater will 
begin 30 minutes before 
each performance. There is 
ample free parking.

thing that rolls — and join 
us for a wheely fun after-
noon. 11:30 am brunch; 
12:15 pm — family-friendly, 
mostly flat, 4-mile bike ride 
along the West Bloomfield 
Trail or bring your scooters, 
bikes, skateboards, etc., to 

enjoy a free-ride around our 
roped-off parking lot; 1 pm 
Shabbat service with Rabbi 
Joshua Bennett, followed by 
a donut-decorating oneg. 
No cost to attend. Helmets 
required. We are pleased to 
partner up with local organi-
zation Free Bikes 4 Kidz as 
we help collect used bicycles 
for children and adults in the 
Detroit community. Please 
bring your used bicycles of 
any size (even if in need of 
a tune-up) to donate to this 
organization.

Conservancy’s festive Soirée 
on the Greenway fundraiser 
returns to the Dequindre 
Cut Freight Yard for a mas-
querade under the stars 
featuring delicious food and 
drink, live music and circus 
performers, a costume con-
test, an exotic petting zoo 
and more incredible surpris-
es. Additionally, Soirée will 
continue the Conservancy’s 
20th anniversary celebrations 
with the unveiling of a new 
anniversary-themed mural 
on the Dequindre Cut locat-
ed between Division Street 
and the Wilkins Street Plaza. 
Exclusive preview of the 
Detroit Harvest Fest & Food 
Truck Rally as guests can 
sample a lineup of specially 
curated delicious eats and 
drinks. Soirée is a 21-and-
over event. Costume contest, 
sponsored by Soaring Eagle 
Casino & Resort. The first 25 
Soirée guests will receive 
complimentary one-of-a-kind 
masquerade masks created 
by local artists. Admission to 
the event is $5 per person. 
Children under 3 years of 
age, seniors (65+), active-du-
ty military and veterans are
