The couple married on Sept. 23, 2023. The maid of honor was Janey Gordon, the bride’s sis- ter. The bridesmaid was Jamie Steuer, the groom’s sister. Adam Steuer, the groom’s brother, was the best man and the groomsman was Andrew Murphy, the groom’s broth- er-in-law. Veronica is the owner of Veronica’s Closets. Brandon graduated from Michigan State University and works at Catapult Concepts. Papo 65th B arbara and Sander Papo marked their 65th anniversary on Aug. 24, 2023. They celebrated with their son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Julie Papo; grand- children, Josh and Amanda of Novi; and friend Zach Stulberg. They continued their cele- bration in Teaneck, N.J., where they were joined by their daughter, Debbie, and son- in-law, David Schultz, of Los Angeles; grandchildren, Daniel and Rachel Small, Dr. Aaron and Batya Schweitzer, Sammy and Eliana Schultz. Barbara and Sander had a surprise visit via live video from Israel with their grandson, Aaron, and his wife, Chava, and great-grandchildren. For his mitzvah project, Quinn has enjoyed volunteering at Temple Israel’s Fresh Food Pantry. Natalie Rose Levy, daughter of Dana and Bruce Levy, will be called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023. She will be joined in celebration by her sister Sofie. Natalie is the loving grandchild of Vita and Slava Valetchikov, and Ellen and Jeff Levy. She is a student at South Hills Middle School in Bloomfield Hills. Natalie’s most meaningful mitzvah project was leading weekly arts and crafts classes at Fleischman Residence/Blumberg Plaza. Nicole Brielle Miller, daughter of Karen and Ted Miller, will be called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023. She is the loving grandchild of Judy and the late Martin Miller, the late Ann Katz, and Tom Jacob. She is a student at Clifford Smart Middle School in Commerce Charter Township. Nicole’s most meaningful mitzvah project was volunteering her time during various events at Temple Israel, including making sandwiches and assembling care packages for the homeless.
