SEPTEMBER 28 • 2023 | 29 J N Jewish women business owners not only the chance to network and hear from keynote speakers, but also receive new professional headshots, social media coaching and an action plan for their business success. CREATING A ‘LAUNCHPAD’ FOR SUCCESS The first session will focus on elevating your business and will feature speaker Laurie Greenberg of Infinite Potential Coaching. Greenberg, an experienced ICF-accredited life and leadership coach, will introduce the program and how to take action in business. Next, session two will dive into authentic branding and how to ultimately build a brand. Featuring speaker Andrea Walker-Leidy, founder of Walker Publicity, the evening will cover how to create more than just a logo, and how to share your story with others. Session three will feature a roundtable discussion with business owners Yolanda Williams, Chelsea Gheesling and Kyle Smitley, who hail from different back- grounds and industries. Topics will include scaling your business, how to say “no” and effective ways to pivot strategy. Moss will moderate the panel, which will include a Q&A session. Last but not least is session four, which will include professional headshots for all from Federation photographer John Hardwick and a program on how to network with Federation fundraiser and University of Michigan instructor Tina Sula. Overall, the four-part series is designed to inspire women to build their business from all angles — not just the financial aspect — and learn how to ultimately drive success. “It’s intended to be a launchpad for people to think about what changes they can make to grow their business, and to walk away with ideas for implementation, ” Moss says. Level UP is also put on by commit- tee members Michelle Cantor, Suzanne Fellows, Pam Lippitt and Jodie Krasnick, as well as Women’s Philanthropy president Sherrie Singer. “I wanted to get involved in Level UP as a future business owner,” Fellows explains. “I think the information the speakers will be providing will give me the confidence to bring my plant-based nutrition and well- ness coaching to fruition, and to network with and learn from experienced working women in our Jewish community.” To learn more about Level UP: A Women’s Business Accelerator Series, visit https://jewishdetroit.org/event/ level-up-a-womens-business-accelerator-series.
