Doris and Arthur relocated
to Ann Arbor in 1969. After
Arthur’s passing in 1971,
Doris worked at Kitchen Port,
excelling at a 20-year career as
a retail purchasing and mar-
keting manager for cookware.
In Ann Arbor, she also par-
ticipated in a wide variety of
clubs. After retiring, Doris ran
the gift shop at Congregation
Beth Israel.
Doris moved to Rossmoor
in Walnut Creek in 2011 to
be close to family and friends
and dedicated herself to an
array of charitable and cultur-
al pursuits.
Throughout the moves,
Doris made friends and cre-
ated community everywhere.
She enjoyed gatherings, cook-
ing, gardening, travel, nature
and museum outings, along
with an unquenchable pursuit
of knowledge. Doris was an
avid reader, film and theater
goer and kept up with current
events and technology. She was
an artist, scientist and “intellec-
tual” to the core. She was a lov-
ing wife, mother, grandmother,
aunt, cousin and friend.
Mrs. Miller was the beloved
wife of the late Arthur Miller;
cherished mother of Elissa
Ruth Miller, Madeline Sue
Miller and the late Cynthia
May Miller; treasured grand-
mother of Anika May Rice;
loving sister of the late Phyllis
and the late Albert Conn and
the late Harvey David Lipton
and the late Anita Rogers;
dear daughter of the late
Samuel and the late Malviene
Lipchinsky.
Interment was at Adat
Shalom Memorial Park.

Bloomfield, died
Sept. 11, 2023.
She is survived
by her daughters and sons-
in-law, Linda and Leon
Buchzeiger, Monica and Henry
Sasson; sons and daughter-
in-law, Richard and Adrienne
Harrison, and Mark Minowitz;
loving grandchildren, Scott
(Mary) Buchzeiger, Gregory
Buchzeiger, Adam (Anna)
Harrison, Jason Harrison,
Stefenie (Marc) Berger, Jeremy
(Aly) Sasson and Jordan
(Katie) Sasson; great-grand-
children, Ace, Ben, Carter,
Cece, Chloe, Cody, Guy, Jacob,
Jagger, Josh, Lev, Ryan and
Shane. She is also remembered
by many family members and
friends.
Carol was the beloved wife
of the late Abraham Minowitz.
Interment took place at
Adat Shalom Memorial
Park Cemetery in Livonia.
