Fair is set for downtown 
Birmingham. The art fair 
supports Common Ground, 
a local nonprofit that helps 
youths, adults and families 
in crisis. This event will 
showcase 100 juried art-
ists and is ranked No. 91 
in the Fine Art and Design 
Category in Sunshine Artist. 
Hours: Sept. 23 (Sat.), 10 
am-6 pm, Sept. 24 (Sun.), 
10 am-5 pm.

HEALTH WORKSHOP 
1-3 PM, SEPT. 26 (TUES.) 
Personal Action Toward 
Health is a fun, interac-
tive program designed by 
Stanford University to pro-
vide the necessary skills 
and tools to help people 

manage chronic pain and 
other persistent health 
conditions live a healthier 
life. Free on Zoom for six 
weeks. Open to adults, 
their family and friends, 
as well as caregivers.

up your child’s curiosity. 
During the 45-minute ses-
sions, you will play with 
your child, connect with 
other parents and sup-
port your child’s learning 
with new ideas. Led by 
Mechelle Bernard, who 
has been a youth librarian 
for more than 20 years. 
She will lead the sessions 
using Birth to 3 Literacy 
Essentials, which was 
developed by MAISA/
GELN Early Literacy Task
