The annual Detroit White
Summer Soiree took place at
Chabad of Greater Downtown
Detroit on Friday evening, July 28.
More than 175 people
celebrated Shabbat together in
a lively and fun atmosphere.
The pre-Shabbat festivities
included live music and
entertainment, with the men
laying tefillin and the women
lighting Shabbat candles.

The menu was designed by the
executive chef at The Morrie and
cooked on premises at Chabad.
The meal was complemented by
homemade challah and a beautiful
dessert buffet.
The event was made possible
with the support of Aaron
Belen and AFB Hospitality and
co-chaired by the JFNA Young
Leadership Cabinet Detroit
Chevre.
