Beloved matriarch of the Nusbaum family and
cherished mother of JHCN Vice President Robert Nusbaum

Barbara and her beloved husband Irvingz’l were visionary philanthropists and founding
pillars of support for the Jewish Hospice and Chaplaincy Network. Their unwavering
commitment became a legacy for their family, resonating for generations to follow.

We hold dear memories of Barbara for her resolute leadership in championing the
causes closest to her heart. Her life was a testament to the values she embraced.
Her grace and warmth are legendary among her expansive circle of family and
loyal friends. May memories of Barbara forever serve as an inspiration to us all.

sister of Gerrie (Harold) Kalt. Dear sister-in-law of Frances Fetter. Devoted daughter of the late Mary and the late
Donald Samuels and daughter-in-law of the late Laura and the late Abraham Nusbaum. Also survived by Irene
Zvonova, her devoted caregivers, Tore, Sierra, Evelyn, Jaimi, and Rachel, and many loving nieces, nephews, and
