The Franklin Judaic Art

Rosh Hashanah dish and
enjoy some honey cake.
The Labor Day Roundup in
Franklin will host the Ckids
Rosh Hashanah Street Fair
in front of the Judaic Art

PAINT NIGHT

Women’s Pre-Rosh-
Hashanah Paint Night will
help you get ready for
the holiday in a luminous
way. Artist Marci Bykat
will guide the painting of
a masterpiece depicting
Shabbat/holiday candles.
Wine and light refresh-

FUN NIGHT

The West Bloomfield
School District
will host a
Family Fun
Night at
West
Bloomfield
High
School.
Free activ-
ities, prizes,
a bounce
house, face paint-
ing, a dunk tank, photo
booths, bubble soccer, a
video game truck. Military,
police and fire vehicles will
be available for children to
climb into and learn about.
Attendees are encour-
aged to stay to cheer on
the Laker Football team at
the game against Stoney
Creek at 7 pm. Elementary
and middle school stu-
dents wearing WBSD spirit
wear will be admitted to

the game free. Prior to
the start of the football
game, WBSD will honor
first responders. Fans and
spectators are encour-
aged to purchase home
game tickets in advance to
avoid delays at the gate.
Tickets will be for sale at
the gate through credit
card payment; cash will
not be accepted for ticket
sales; families can still use
cash to purchase conces-
sions. To purchase tickets

WORLD OF ‘FRIENDS’

will continue to sell a fresh
selection of seasonal
apples by the ½ peck (6
lbs.) and bushel (40 lbs.).
On Saturdays and Sundays,
mellow jazz is offered. Come

The annual Temple Israel
Labor Day Picnic: a day of

fun and excitement for the
whole family. Pizza, magi-
