Mrs. Oleinick is survived 
by her sister, Loree Sandoz 
(Richard) Sloggett; sister-
in-law, Barbara Sandoz; her 
sons, Jonathan and Lewis 
Oleinick; her daughter, Susan 
(Charles) Shapiro; and her 
many grandchildren. 
She was predeceased by her 
brothers, Frank and James 
Sandoz; and her first-born 
son, Robert Oleinick.
Interment was at Beth 
Israel Memorial Garden 

in Arborcrest Cemetery.

SCHANE, 91, of 
West Bloomfield, 
died May 21, 
2023.
He is survived 
by his daughters and sons-
in-law, Pamela and David 
Lanning, and Evelyn 
Schane and Jimmy Merlo; 
grandchildren, Jael Holzman, 

Joseph Holzman, Joshua 
Merlo, and Makayla Merlo; 
many loving cousins, nieces, 
nephews and friends. 
Mr. Schane was the beloved 
husband for 59 years of the 
late Rachel Schane; the loving 
brother of the late Dr. David 
and the late Sylvia Schane, 
the late Anna and the late Ted 
Curtis, and the late Dorothy 
and the late Ernie Curtis; the 
devoted son of the late Morris 
and the late Miriam Schane. 
Interment was at Clover 
Hill Park Cemetery.
