Hilary Gorosh and Eli Wald of Chicago, Ill., are 
thrilled to announce the birth of their son, Ezra Ori 
Wald. Ezra is welcomed by his older brother 
Judah, and grandparents Tammy and Bruce 
Gorosh of West Bloomfield, and Jack and Laura 
Wald of Chicago. Ezra is named in loving memory of his 
maternal great-grandmother Edith Rosen Erdberg and 
paternal great-uncle Oscar Wald.

MARCH 30, 2023 
Hannah (Iwrey) and Brandon Hoffman of 
Farmington Hills are thrilled to announce the 
birth of their daughter, Talia Mollie, named in lov-
ing memory of her great-grandmother Thelma, 
great-grandfather Milton, great-great-grandmother 
Mollie and great-great-grandmother Tilly. Also welcoming Talia 
are proud grandparents Les and Bob Iwrey of Farmington 
Hills, and Jackie and Bob Hoffman of West Bloomfield.

Michaels, son of

Michaels, will be 
called to the 
Torah as a bar mitzvah at 
Temple Israel in West 
Bloomfield on Saturday, May 
27, 2023. He will be joined 
in celebration by his sister 
Elliana. Shane is the loving 
grandchild of Audrey and 
Lucian Michaels, and Alicia 
and the late Fred Garza. 
He is a student at Clifford 
Smart Middle School in 
Commerce Township. 
Shane’s most meaningful 
mitzvah project was 
volunteering at Forgotten

Caroline Wolfe, 
daughter of 
Tracey and Eric 
Wolfe, will lead 
the congregation 
as she becomes a bat 
mitzvah at Temple Beth El in 
Bloomfield Township on 
Saturday, May 27, 2023. She 
will be joined in celebration 
by her older brother Lowell. 
Veronica is the grand-
daughter of the late Caroline 
and Leo Wells, and the late 
Avis and Harold Wolfe.
Veronica is a seventh-
grader at Derby Middle 
School in Birmingham. Her 
most meaningful mitzvah 
project is donating funds to 
the Brain Injury Association 
of Michigan and working 
with students living and 
learning with traumatic brain 
injuries.
