Baratz and Bryce Peterson.
Honored grandparents are
Hazel and Lionel Nakisher of
West Bloomfield; Ruth Dvash of
Ra’anana, Israel; Avi Dvash of
Jerusalem, Israel; and Sara Baratz of Jerusalem.
Danielle earned her undergraduate and D.D.S.
degrees from the University of Michigan. Bryce is also a
proud University of Michigan graduate and is an actuari-
al director with CNA Insurance.
The wedding is planned for November 2023.

will celebrate their 50th
anniversary on May 27, 2023.
They are active contributors to
the Detroit Jewish community.
Michael is a real estate develop-
er, and Barbara is a registered
nurse turned court-appointed
mediator. They are the parents
of Rachel Sahn, Susan Horowitz,
Adam Horowitz and Geoffrey
Horowitz, and grandparents of
Isaac, Hannah and Izzy Sahn.

Fund to plant trees in Israel.

adoring great-grandchild of

Detroit in Farmington Hills.
His most meaningful mitzvah
project was collecting and
donating needed items for
the Bear Hug Foundation,
an organization providing
summer camp experiences
for at-risk and under-served
children.
Quinn Rose

in West Bloomfield on Friday,
May 19, 2023. She will be
joined in celebration by her
sister Dylan. Quinn is the lov-
ing grandchild of Joanne
and Edward Reizen, Patricia
Canner Lippitt, and the late
Norman Lippit.
She is a student at West
Hills Middle School in West
Bloomfield. Quinn’s most
meaningful mitzvah proj-
ect was raising money to
support research at the
University of Michigan Mary
H. Weiser Food Allergy
Center.

bread with his grandma
Sue for Kneaded with Love,
a Metro Detroit group that
donates freshly baked bread
to local food pantries.

Zedek in Southfield on
Saturday, May 20, 2023.
Joining Owen in celebra-
tion will be his sister Anna,
his brother Ethan and
proud grandparents Rena
and Ron Meyers, and
Susan and Richard Roth.
Owen is a student
at Norup International
School in Oak Park. For his
mitzvah project, he will be
working with Charity Water,
a nonprofit organization
bringing clean and safe
water to people around the
world.
